Installing the South African Water Quality Guidelines for Freshwater Ecosystems - Version 2

Installing the DSS is a straightforward Windows application install

1. Download the installer from this link WQGDSS download
2. Doubleclick the downloaded file to install.
3. An icon with a leopard face will be created on your desktop, double click it to run the WQGDSS.

Technical Note: This application was developed in Lazarus IDE using the 32bit Free Pascal Compiler and compiled into an installer using Inno Setup (http://www.innosetup.com) via the Inno Script Studio application (https://www.kymoto.org/). 

The installer and application are unsigned.  Windows will moan, but the program will work fine.  Do ensure that you downloaded them from the official IWR website /iwr and verify one of the checksums given below.

Application version is 1.0.0.50 dated 2026-02-02

If you want to verify the downloaded file the MD5 checksum is (WQGDSS-setup.exe) = 07e869f5f3b22a105c7cf8d503fdf204
